We would like to connect with ALL parents using ClassDojo. This is a quick messaging system that you can get through an app (links below). There are several teachers who also use ClassDojo as part of the classroom culture, but even if your child’s teacher does not, you can still be connected to the school directory through joining the STEAM Lab grade level groups.

Each child needs to be connected. If you are already connected through one child but now have a new child that you have not connected, please click on the links for their grade level and sign up. You will see Mrs. Allard’s name and photo, but that’s okay!! This is the way to connect you to the whole school ClassDojo, even if your child’s classroom teacher is not using it. Once your child is in the system, there should be no need to reconnect again the following year. If you have any questions or run into any problems connecting, please email Mrs. Allard.

Congratulations to 4th grade who have 100% parent sign up!!

Not all teachers are using it as part of their classroom management and communication program, but we are using it for school-wide messaging. When you go into ClassDojo you will see all students listed under Mrs. Allard (STEAM) and their grade level, and you may also see their regular classroom teacher if they are using it.

Click on one of the grade level links, or follow these steps to connect through the main portal:

Download the app OR click on the link: https://home.classdojo.com/#/story
Ignore the ad for paying and click the “try free” button at the bottom.
Click on add a child.
Click on add a child through your child’s teacher.
It will ask you to search for Vista Grande.
Choose MRS. ALLARD as the classroom teacher (easiest method and on top). If your child’s teacher is also using ClassDojo, it WILL connect both.
